We consider it of paramount importance that you know what data will be collected while using the FLEEKUS platform and how it will be used. The procedure adopted aims at the transparency of the procedures and policies for sharing your information.

This is the basic pillar of the transparency rules and privacy policies adopted by FLEEKUS

These terms of use adopted should be read in full, but below are some of the most important aspects of our terms of use and privacy policies:

FLEEKUS is a public information platform and all content posted by users is viewable and searchable by anyone around the world. However, through privacy tools users have the ability of restricting the ways of contact with FLEEKUS, through protected opinions and direct messages. You can also use FLEEKUS under a pseudonym if you prefer not to use your realname.

A) In order for you to register and use FLEEKUS, even if it is just for reading some content, we require you to send us some personal details such as your valid legal name and email address, and you may also choose to share additional information with us, such as your phone number, address, likes, customs, among other personal information, but this information is not required. When you access the platform FLEEKUS will collect some additional information such as the type of device you are using and your IP address. FLEEKUS uses this information to keep your account secure, to allow you easy login into the platform, and to provide a better and more appropriate experience with our partners and advertisers.

B) You have control over your settings to limit the data FLEEKUS will have access to, and you can adjust your account security levels, exposure of information to other users, and marketing preferences. Some partner apps may access some personal data if you enable this option.

C) In addition to the information you share with us, we analyse your preferences, the content you read, comments, pages you browse, and other information such as your age, the languages you speak, etc. to presume the topics of interest. This conduct is intended to promote content that is more relevant to your liking and to provide a better experience on the platform.

FLEEKUS requires certain information to provide our services. For example, you must have an account to read, send, share, or interact with content on FLEEKUS. When you choose to share the information below with us, we collect and use it to operate our services and develop the platform.


To access all FLEEKUS features, you must create an account and provide personal data. On FLEEKUS, this includes a name for your page (for example, “Fleekus Diary ”), a username (for example, @ John_Doe ), a password, an email address, or a telephone number. Your display name and username are always public, but you can use your real name or a nickname. You can also create and manage multiple FLEEKUS accounts or have multiple pages linked to the same user.


Most activities on FLEEKUS are public; however, there are activities that can only be performed by the platform and are kept by FLEEKUS confidentiality. We will never reveal any user information unless a Court of Law or Government Agency requires and demands such information, in accordance with applicable law. Profile information, time zone, language, the time and date when you created your account, your published content, comments, interactions and certain information about their publications, such as date, time, application and release, the platform you used to interact with FLEEKUS are public. The pages you subscribe to, the people you follow, the pages you follow, and the posts you like or share are also public. The broadcasts you create, click, or engage in FLEEKUS are also public, as is the information about when you performed these actions. From this we can assume that your tastes, opinions and preferences are public and you should always be aware of this when using FLEEKUS. Information posted about you by others who use our services may also be public. For example, other people might bookmark your page in a comment or post (if your settings allow).

You, the user, are responsible for every action you take within FLEEKUS. Your posts, shares, opinions, and other information you provide to our services must be carefully thought out and carefully executed, as they will be made public, especially if it is confidential information. If you update your public information on FLEEKUS, such as deleting a post or disabling your account, we will reflect your updated content on Fleekus.com, the FLEEKUS IOS app, and the FLEEKUS Android app.

In addition to providing your public information directly to the FLEEKUS environment, we also use application programming interface (API) and embedding technologies to make this information available to websites, apps and other platforms - for example, by posting to partner sites, in search engines, smart TVs, etc... We generally make this content available in a limited sample, free of charge. For this we have terms that govern how this data can be used by Fleekus and/or third parts and a compliance program to enforce these terms. Individuals and companies that are not affiliated with FLEEKUS and the presentation of content extracted from the system, may not reflect the standards used by FLEEKUS.


We use contact information, such as your email address or phone number, to securely authenticate and maintain your account - on our services - and to help prevent spam, fraud, and abuse. We also use contact information to customize our services, enable certain account features (for example, for login verification ) and to submit information about our services. If you provide us with your telephone number, you will consent automatically to receive text messages from FLEEKUS to the number provided in accordance with the laws of your country or state. FLEEKUS will also be authorised to use your contact information to send marketing material to you, in accordance with the laws of your country, and to help other people find your account if your settings allow, including through third-party services and client applications.

You can use your profile settings to control notifications received from FLEEKUS . You can also unsubscribe from a notification by following the instructions in notifications settings.

You can choose to upload and sync your address book to FLEEKUS, so we can help you find and connect with people you know and help others find and connect with you. We also use this information to better recommend content to you and others.

If you email us, we will retain the content of your message, your email address, and your contact information to respond to your request.


We have provided certain features that allow you to communicate more privately or control who sees your content. For example, you can use direct messaging to have non-public conversations on FLEEKUS and protect this content. When you communicate with others by sending or receiving Direct Messages, we store and process your communications and related information. This includes checking links to malicious content, shortening URL links, detecting spam and prohibited images, and reviewing reported issues. We also use information about whom you communicated with and when (but not the content of those communications) to better understand the use of our services, to protect the security and integrity of our platform, and to show you more relevant content. We share the content of your direct messages with the people you sent them to; we do not use them to serve your ads. Please note that if you directly share a received message and post this content on FLEEKUS because you like this post, for example, it will become public. When you use features such as Direct Messages to communicate, remember that recipients will have their own copy of these communications and they can also make it public. Therefore, this situation must be taken into account each time you send a direct message to a third party. The FLEEKUS not make any public direct message, but is not responsible for direct and private messages posted by you or third parties.


You may provide us with payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address, to purchase advertising or other offers provided as part of our services.


We receive certain information when you use our services or other mobile sites or applications that include our content and from third parties, including advertisers. For example, FLEEKUS received the information you share with us, and FLEEKUS will use the data listed below to operate and improve our services.


We require information about your subscription and current location, which we obtain from signals such as your IP address or device settings, to set up and maintain your account safely, reliably and to provide our services to you. Subject to your settings, we may collect, use and store additional information about your location - such as your current precise position or locations where you have used FLEEKUS - to operate or customize our services, including more relevant content such as local trends, stories, ads, and suggestions for people to follow.


We track how you interact with the links on our services, this includes links in emails we send to you and links in posts that appear on other websites or mobile apps. If you click on an external link or ad on our services, that advertiser or website operator may find that you came from FLEEKUS, along with other information associated with the ad you clicked on, such as characteristics of the intended audience. They may also collect other personal data from you, such as cookie identifiers or your IP address. FLEEKUS will not be responsible for the content on the webpage that is contained on any links which you may click.


A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your computer or mobile device. Like many websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect additional site usage data and to operate our services. Cookies are not required for many parts of our services, such as searching and browsing public profiles. Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, many browser settings can be set to refuse cookies or alert you when a site is trying to place a cookie on your computer. However, some of our services may not function properly if you disable cookies. When your browser or device permits, we use session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with our services, monitor aggregate usage patterns, and customize and operate our services, providing account security and personalising content. We use the information described in this Privacy Policy and Terms Of Use to help make our advertising more relevant, measure its effectiveness, and help recognise your devices to make ads public on and off FLEEKUS. Our partners / affiliates share information with us, as well as browser cookie IDs, mobile device IDs, e-mail addresses with hash, demographic or interest data, and displaying content or actions taken on a website or application. Some of our advertising partners, especially our advertisers, also allow us to collect similar information directly from your website or app, integrating our advertising technology. FLEEKUS adheres to the Digital Advertising Alliance Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioural Advertising (also called “interest-based advertising”) and respects DAA's consumer choice tool for you to disable interest-based advertising on https://optout.aboutads.info. In addition, our ad policies prohibit advertisers from targeting ads based on categories we consider sensitive or prohibited by law. If you are an advertiser or potential advertiser, we process your personal information to help offer and provide our advertising services. You may update your details on your FLEEKUS Ads dashboard or contact us directly as described in this Privacy Policy.


We may receive information about you from third parties who are not our advertising partners, such as others on FLEEKUS, partners who help us evaluate the safety and quality of content on our platform, our corporate affiliates, and other services linked to your FLEEKUS account .You may choose to connect your FLEEKUS account to accounts on another service, and this ot her service may send us information about your account on such service. We use the information we receive to provide features such as cross- posting or cross-service authentication and to operate our services. For integrations that FLEEKUS formally supports, you can revoke this permission at any time from your application settings; For other integrations, please visit the other service you used to connect to FLEEKUS or as FLEEKUS we will not take responsibility as to the data the other services share and store.


When you sign in to FLEEKUS from a browser or device, we associate that browser or device with your account for authentication, security, and personalization of activities. Depending on your personal settings, we may also associate your account with browsers or devices other than those you use to sign in to FLEEKUS (or associate your disconnected device or browser with other browsers or devices). We do this to operate and customize the services available. For example, if you visit websites with sporting content on your laptop, we may display sports-related ads on Google FLEEKUS for Android.


We share or disclose your personal data, for example when you authorize a third-party web application or client to access your account or when you forward us to share your comments with a company. If you have shared information such as direct messages or protected opinions with someone who accesses FLEEKUS through a third party service, keep in mind that the information may be shared with the third party service. Subject to your settings, FLEEKUS may provide third parties with certain personal data to help us offer or operate our services on a broad and ongoing basis. For example, we share with the advertisers the device identifiers that viewed their ads so they can measure the effectiveness of our advertising business. We also share device identifiers, along with the interests or other characteristics of a device or the person using it, to help partners decide to run an ad on that device or to allow them to perform marketing, brand analysis, interest-based advertising or similar activities. The information we share with these partners does not include your name, email address, phone number or FLEEKUS username, but some of these partnerships allow the information we share to be linked to other personal information if your partner first obtains your consent.


As indicated above, FLEEKUS was designed to instantly disseminate the information you publicly share through our services. In the limited circumstances in which we disclose your private personal data, we are subject to your control because it is necessary to operate our services or because law requires it.


We hire service providers to perform functions and provide services to us in the United States, Canada, India, Portugal, Ireland and other countries. For example, we use a variety of third party services to help operate our services, such as hosting our platform, and to help us understand the use of our services, such as Analytics systems.We may share your private personal data with such service providers subject to obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures and on the condition that third parties use your personal data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. If you have registered for an account with FLEEKUS, we provide account tools and settings for accessing, correcting, deleting or modifying the personal data you provide to us and associated with your account. You can download some account information, including your opinions, by following the instructions.


When you disable your FLEEKUS account, your display name, username and public profile, can no longer be viewed on Fleekus.com, or the FLEEKUS application for iOS and application FLEEKUS for Android. Please be aware that search engines and other third parties may still keep copies of your public information, such as your profile information and public opinions, even after you have deleted information from our services or disabled your account.

Our services are not intended for minors nor adolescents. Our services may not be used if they are considered as minors in compliance with the laws and rules applicable to the territory of access to FLEEKUS. You must also be old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data in your country (in some countries we may allow you parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).


To bring you our services, we operate globally. When the laws of your country allow you to do so, you authorize us to transfer, store and use your data in the United States, Canada, Portugal, Ireland and any other country in which we operate. In some countries to which we transfer personal data, privacy laws and rules and data protection may differ from your country. When we transfer personal data outside the European Union or EFTA States, we ensure an adequate level of protection of data subjects' rights based on the adequacy of the data protection laws of the receiving country; contractual obligations imposed on the recipient of the data clauses (as described below); or the principles of the EU-US and Switzerland-US Privacy Shield. FLEEKUS is in accordance with the principles of Shield EU-US Privacy and Switzerland-USA (the "Principles") regarding the collection, use, sharing and retention of personal data from the European Union and Switzerland, as described in our US-EU Certification Privacy Shield and certification Swiss -US Privacy Shield.

As part of our participation in Privacy Shield, if you have a dispute with us about our adherence to the Principles, we will seek to resolve it through our internal complaint resolution process, or through the independent JAMS dispute resolution body and under certain conditions, through the Privacy Shield arbitration process. Privacy Shield participants are subject to the investigative and supervisory powers of the US Federal Trade Commission and other authorized statutory bodies. If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion is relevant, we will notify you by updating your @fleekus_account or by email to the email address associated with your account. By continuing to access or use the Services after these changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
